Changing Blue ATAs to White ATAs

A reminder that Blue ATAs will cease functioning at the start of October, 2024.

Ordering Blue ATA Replacements

You can place an order for replacement devices at the special discounted price* by emailing to customerservice@faxsipit.com with the Subject “Exchange Order”. These are regularly priced at $99 (USD) while replacements will be available for $50 (USD). Please enquire if you purchase in Canadian dollars. *Note – quantity is limited to the number of Blue ATA lines you have active.
If you purchase all of your replacement unites at once so they are shipped in one order we will also cover the shipping costs. If you have them sent over multiple orders regular shipping costs will apply. When ordering please indicate your request is for replacement for Blues so that your discount is applied correctly. Please also indicate if you are placing your full order to apply one-time free shipping.

How to change from a Blue to a White

  1. Update the MAC Address in the existing user profile in the fax portal to the White ATA MAC Address and connect the device to power, internet access and the local fax machine. Making this update will stop the Blue ATA from being able to come Online so you may want to do this only when the device is at the customer premise and ready to be installed.
  2. Contact FaxSIPit Support to have the existing working DID updated on our switch for use with a White ATA. This is an internal change that FaxSIPit needs to make in order to be able to receive inbound faxes. It is a very quick change to make and we recommend calling us to have this updated immediately.
